What makes me think this book could just as easily be titled 100 Women in Comics with Completely Identical Bodies in Various States of Undress?
I saw this and I was like WHY IS THERE NO 100 SEXIEST MEN OF COMICS :(
But yeah, basically that title pretty much sums it up. The less clothes they have on, the sexier they are/the closer to no. 1 they are.
The 100 Strongest Women?
The 100 Smartest Women?
The 100 Coolest Women?
No.
The 100 sexiest women. Because sex is the only thing that matters when it comes to judging women.

I will freely admit to loving sexy women, in real life and in comic books and there are definitely way more than a hundred comic book heroines that I find sexy. There’s nothing wrong with liking a character that’s sexy or calling a character sexy either.
But treating the characters like being ‘sexy’ is the only thing that’s important about them is just insulting, especially given the double standard that yep, you never see books about the 100 sexiest men in comic books. When it comes to males it’s always who’s the most dangerous/bad ass/scary/awesome/heroic. But when it comes to ladies it’s always about how ‘Sexy’ they are :(
Now I want to make a list of the 100 sexiest men in comics. Starting with Catman, Aquaman and Nightwing.
One last Batgirl/Supergirl comic for the holidays. For whatever you celebrate this time of year (or not at all), I wish everyone a very merry, happy December!
[Image of Batman and Wonder Woman totally making out in their costumes against a pinkish background. Bruce’s cowl is all down and Diana’s hand is in his hair. Her gold ‘W’ is pressed against his Bat symbol. They’re probably gonna do it later. And by ‘do it’ I mean ‘drink some Earl Grey and play a rousing game of chess.’ And by ‘play chess’ I mean ‘have sexual intercourse.’]
You know, even if it were a choice I would want to protect the rights of LGBT people. Because the only argument against LGBT-ness is religion (which is a choice, or at least a belief) and last time I checked we’re supposed to have freedom of religion, which means we’re allowed to practice or not practice whatever religion we choose. Government should not ever be in the business of telling us what kinds of behavior are “sinful”. So long as your lifestyle choices don’t hurt anyone else and everyone involved is a consenting adult, I really think the government should stay the Hell out of it.
Earlier this year toymakers Fisher Price started adding female DC characters into its Little People line. As I wrote then, this was a big step as this toyline focuses on the youngest of fans, toddler and pre-school. With the Wonder Woman and Batgirl figures, parents have the opportunity to make playing at superheroing a unisex endeavor.
While the figures were adorable, they were just that figures but now Fisher Price has added an accessory for Wonder Woman.
